S OCEAN PEEL BOWL - SANDY BROWN

Ocean peel, a series of vessels inspired by seashell fragments - partial, open shells softened by the gentle, continuous movement of the sea.
The bowls are shaped with asymmetrical outlines, as if naturally opened - not perfectly, but in the way the ocean forms things.
Folded surfaces create layered compositions: an outer contour embracing a small inner bowl, evoking a pearl cradled within a shell.
Delicate carvings appear in certain places, resembling underwater textures - corals, sea plants, quiet movement.
Each piece holds a subtle dialogue between outside and inside - between what wraps and what is wrapped, between protection and softness, between shell and content.
Every item is handcrafted from natural clay and left unglazed, allowing the material to remain raw, alive, and true to its nature.
Each piece is unique - an unrepeatable expression of motion, layer, and moment.
