series 11 // 2026

F O S S I L  F L O R A

This series explores the meeting point between ancient layers and new growth, where material carries the memory of time, and stone becomes a place for movement, transformation, and bloom.

The surfaces evoke rock formations shaped slowly through accumulation, pressure, and erosion.

Layer by layer, they hold traces of time preserved within the material.

Each piece rises from a stone, like body in a narrow upward movement. The forms appear as though they have been carved from within and gradually revealed, rather than imposed upon the material.

Here, carving becomes an act of discovery, revealing something new from what already exists.

Between the weight of ancient matter and the movement of renewed growth, stone holds memory, and flora begins again.

B O T A N I C A L  U N F O L D I N G

This series emerged from observing the moment when leaves unfold in nature, a quiet yet powerful movement of expansion and growth.

Each piece is composed of two leaves opening from a shared base, like wings spreading outward.

Between them exists a dialogue of differences: in material, color, texture, and movement.

Together, these differences create a subtle tension between motion and stillness, between quietness and something wild.

In every piece, one side is carved while the other remains smooth. At times the tone of the clay or the direction of the form also shifts. These differences do not create opposition, but relationship - much like in nature, where asymmetry becomes harmony.

The works are hand-built from natural clay, each one a unique variation of the same botanical movement unfolding into space.

This collection draws inspiration from small fruits, still unripe.
Spherical forms open at the top into an asymmetrical crown, expressing movement and flow against the sphere’s quiet wholeness.

Flowing contours and a delicate texture along the crown’s outer surface add a quiet sense of motion, growth and bloom.

Each form carries the language of early bloom; each crown is unique, a gentle emergence of growth held within a complete sphere.

Mushroom Field is a sculptural composition of forms standing together in space, like a group of living beings at the moment of awakening.

The series is inspired by the hidden underside of mushrooms: the inner side of the cap, the grooves, shadows, and structures that usually remain concealed from view. Through the act of carving, what is hidden in nature is turned outward and exposed to light.

Each piece holds its own presence, while gaining meaning through its relationship to the others, through height, distance, direction, and subtle tilt. When placed together, the works create a delicate spatial rhythm, a sense of restrained movement within the space, where light, shadow, and the distances between the forms become an integral part of the work.

Each piece is hand-built from unglazed natural clay, preserving the raw texture, tone, and tactile presence of the material.

P E T A L S  I N  B L O O M

This collection born from observing the unfolding motion of petals—their soft lines, directional flow, and fleeting presence. Each piece begins with a slender, stem-like base that gently opens upward, as if blooming into delicate petals.

The base is grounded and stable, expressing a connection to the earth, while the upper form is dynamic and flowing, a quiet moment of nature, suspended between stillness and becoming.

Each piece can stand on its own, yet when gathered together, they form a blooming field, a poetic landscape reminiscent of a wild meadow or a gentle cluster of mushrooms.

Hand-built from natural clay and left unglazed, allowing the raw, honest texture of the material to remain visible. Every piece is one of a kind, crafted with intention, sensitivity, and precise care.

This collection draws inspiration from fragments of seashells softened by tide and time. Asymmetrical bowls open in layered contours, cradling smaller inner basins like pearls protected within a shell.

Hand-carved ridges reminiscent of coral and sea plants add quiet movement, catching light and shadow in gentle transitions across each piece.  Unglazed clay preserves the raw, salt-washed texture of the shore.

Whether sculptural or functional, each form carries the language of the ocean, a reminder of stillness, the rhythm of waves, and a spacious breath.

A poetic and refined series inspired by a unique strain of mushrooms with slender stems and broad caps that unfold like delicate fabric. They grow together in clusters, appearing to participate in a quiet dance — a natural choreography of growth, harmony, and delicacy.

Their organic, asymmetrical shapes emphasize the wild beauty of the mushrooms, conveying a sense of softness, movement, and inner calm.

Each piece in the series possesses its own character and qualities that express this diversity. Together, they create a visual symphony that moves between nature, material, and motion

Wild Mushroom Bloom, a series born from observing wild mushrooms - organic, untamed growth that is both quiet and powerful. Each piece begins from the base, like a stem rising from the earth, then bursts upward in a free, intuitive motion. The exterior is precise, strong, and present. Its contours remain intact, with no carving or reduction from the clay.

The interior, in contrast, is soft and fragile, lined with delicate grooves that create depth and movement.

This series is a tribute to the tension between strength and softness in nature - the quiet forces that allow for growth and renewal.

Each piece can stand alone yet also harmonize beautifully in groups - just as mushrooms grow and thrive together in the wild.
